We know that the world is focusing on the going's on of Hollywood right now. But let's turn our attention to some new player's in the music industry.
New Artist
FUR

Every so often we stumble across a band that could genuinely be one of the next biggest names in music. FUR is one of those bands. The boys from London and Brighton produce a unique sound mixing indie rock with a distinct 1960s vibe. Their tunes are melodic and feel nostalgic despite modern undertones.
Although they've only officially released three songs, FUR have racked up hundreds of thousands of streams and have headlined a Brighton show. They continue to do the touring rounds supporting Boy Pablo later this month.

New Track
Chvrches & Matt Berninger - My Enemy

The National's Matt Berninger lends his deep voice to Chvrches' distinctive tone in this fantastic new electro-pop track, My Enemy. The song is due to appear on the group's upcoming third album Love is Dead, being released in May. Of the collaboration, lead singer Lauren Mayberry said that it was exciting because "we've all all be fans of The National for a long time."
Berninger and Mayberry converse well in this bittersweet tune, singing harsh lyrics in such a way as to make them feel mellow. The track doesn't build to a high tempo climax like many of Chvrches more well known songs, but this isn't to its detriment.
This song makes us very excited for their new album.
New Video
Femuline - We Run
We searched long and hard to bring you a new music video and we think you'll love this one. Femuline's video for their song We Run is edgy and artistic. A cool studio set up mixed with the film of a trip along the coast brings a sense of journey. They exclaim "we run from our small minded towns" and maybe this is their escape.
The word Femuline is defined as a person with both feminine and masculine qualities that doesn't necessarily associate specifically with either. The video illustrates the bands exploration of this spectrum and the need to escape from their surroundings in order to do so. The soothing vocals and slight electro-pop vibes are a distinct combination.
With selection of new songs out this week, Femuline look like a future force to be reckoned with.
