The Best Live Music Restaurants in London

Updated: Mar 7, 2018

People are increasingly looking for good live music in London whilst they eat. Pizza Express is the latest chain to embrace the trend, with their branches in Holborn, Chelsea and Soho hosting famous live acts on a weekly basis. Tonight, Tim Robinson is playing at the Holborn branch. His rock themed playing has allowed him to play alongside legends such as the Clash.

But there are more venues out there if you want something a bit different.

Proud Cabaret City

For a speakeasy style evening, head to Proud Cabaret City for a 1920s inspired meal with prohibition-era cocktails, seductive burlesque performers and live jazz music. They even have fire breathers. It’s a glamorous and exciting venue, where gastronomy and entertainment collide in the wackiest way…but it works.

Blues Kitchen

Blues Kitchen is responsible for some of the best BBQs you'll find in London. It’s inspired by American Southern style cooking and has become a haven for foodie fans looking for a good meal and a fantastic musical atmosphere. The Shoreditch venue is huge space filled with great smells, live music and DJ tunes at the weekend.

The Piano Works

Located in Clerkenwell, The Piano Works is inspired by the days when couples danced the night away to the latest soul and jazz sensation, the venue brings the past back into the 21st century. With their fantastic music and experimental drinks menu, there is also a fantastic American inspired menu including grilled-to-perfection steak and some seriously good hotdogs.
